1. About us

These terms govern the sale of products and services by Ripon Group Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: info@riponev.co.uk.

2. Ordering

A contract is formed when we accept your order by email confirmation. We may decline any order at our discretion. Prices and availability are subject to change until the order is accepted.

3. Payment

Payment is taken in full at checkout through our secure payment processor (Shopify). All prices include VAT unless stated. We accept major credit/debit cards and other methods displayed at checkout.

4. Delivery

We deliver to UK mainland addresses. Standard delivery is typically 2–5 working days from dispatch. Risk passes to you on delivery. Delivery dates are estimates; we are not liable for reasonable delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.

5. Installation

Where installation is purchased, work is carried out by Ripon-approved installers. The standard install covers the items listed on our Installation page. Non-standard work is quoted separately before any additional work begins.

6. Cancellations & returns

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel an unused product for a refund. Products must be returned in original, unused condition. Installed products and bespoke installation work cannot be returned once commissioning has begun, save for your statutory rights where the goods are faulty.

Faulty goods are covered by your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Warranty

Ripon EV chargers carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty from the date of installation, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Installation work by Ripon-approved installers is covered by an additional 12-month workmanship warranty. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised modification, accident or third-party installation.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to the above, our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the relevant product or service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of use of vehicle, or loss of data.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
